Here is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005 at Stanford University that a colleague of mine forwarded..

Hewlett and Packard started at a garage..
So did the Googlers..
So did Michael Dell..
(And if i add an Amazon or an eBay not many would deny that...!!)
Found some nice perspectives from Mr.Jobs here, though i generally stay away from the Motivational-Self Help-Inspirational reads.

Had read this before. But never fails to inspire. Thanks for leading me to it again.
MAC,Pixar and Ipod are definitely testimony to steve's innovation and the broad perspective with which he sees things. This is why he is a source of inspiration
On a side note but isn't john sculley's odyssey from pepsi to apple is equally revered in corporate world eventhough steve is trying to villify john in this speech.
.:a:. > Yes. its pretty inspiring. i never knew he battled cancer as well.
venkat > i don't think Jobs is villifying Scully. even if Jobs claims that he was afterall right all along, we can't deny him the glory, with the hindsight of how things have turned out. Scully, being an ultimate sales guy, was smart enough to make money out of his experience, which probably vindicates why Jobs thought Scully is talented!
